Oculus Inc. Interior Designer, Marlie Woods was named a recipient of the fourth annual Emerging Leaders Scholarship program presented by the Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo.

The scholarship program recognizes individuals with less than 10 years of experience in healthcare design, construction, research, and education. Winners of the program receive full access to the symposium and all activities surrounding the event, including public recognition of their achievement.

The 2026 conference theme, Learn. Connect. Thrive. encompasses the possibilities available for the emerging leaders. Receiving the scholarship not only exposes young professionals to high-level industry insights, it brings many opportunities for career growth, mentorship, and networking.

As a recipient of this scholarship, Marlie attended the symposium & expo on September 28th – 30th in Charlotte, NC alongside Oculus team members, Bryan Beckering and Justin Kanturek.
