The award-winning interior design services for the comprehensive renovation of Hotel Murano transformed 318 guest rooms and 21 floors into an immersive art-centric hospitality experience. The design celebrates Tacoma’s rich glass art heritage, seamlessly integrating custom works from renowned international glass artists throughout the hotel.

From the ethereal, back-lit reception desk to etched glass panels lining the corridors, the interiors act as a curated gallery of contemporary glass artistry. Each guest room showcases art by the floor’s featured artist and includes hand-blown bedside lamps, custom wenge wood furnishings, and glass-topped vanities. Guest bathrooms echo the hotel’s refined modern aesthetic with Carrera marble flooring, full-wall mirrors, and vessel sinks.

Sustainability and durability were key priorities. High-performance, eco-conscious materials were selected to ensure long-term resilience without compromising the hotel’s contemporary visual identity.
