Oculus Inc. partnered with Rawlings Sporting Goods to provide programming, architectural design, and interior design services for a new flagship retail experience center at Westport Plaza in St. Louis close to their new headquarters.

The two-story space is a uniquely crafted customer experience destination that goes beyond a conventional retail store. The goal of the Rawlings Experience is to build a deeper and more meaningful set of memories, experiences, and relationships between Rawlings and its customers. To achieve this, the design takes customers on a journey through the brand’s 135-plus-year legacy of creating authentic, high-quality products interlinked with the history of baseball and all diamond sports in America and across the world.

Highlighted features of the Rawlings Experience include the ‘glove vault,’ a curated display of Rawlings gloves for purchase and customer interaction, displays of previous Gold Glove and Platinum Glove winners, brand artifacts spanning multiple decades and categories, a virtual batting cage with personal coaching, and the ‘Pro Room,’ where customers can work one-on-one with a Rawlings team member to customize their glove just as a pro receives.
