Project Description
A blend of old world charm and modernism transformed this narrow space into a convivial bar and intimate dining room. Strategically placed expansive mirrors reflect light and provide the illusion of a much larger space. Directing light at the nineteen-foot custom walnut communal table and sixteen-foot high wine display cases adds to the sense of drama. Conversation pieces such as the ornate glass chandeliers and striking Moooi chairs anchoring each end of the communal table mix with simple, reasonably priced dining chairs, stained concrete floors, white linens, and hundreds of candles created a feeling of opulence.
