Oculus Inc. led the architectural design of the new 3,400 SF Screen Door restaurant at Portland International Airport, creating a vibrant, hospitality-driven space that brings Southern charm to a modern travel hub. The design blends warm, rustic finishes with refined detailing to evoke a welcoming, timeless aesthetic. Key features include an open-display kitchen, full-service bar, mobile order pickup, and seating for over 100 guests, all organized for intuitive flow and operational efficiency within a high-traffic airport setting. Oculus crafted the interior layout, guided the material palette, and ensured that every design element aligned with the client’s brand and PDX’s tenant improvement standards. From early concept development through construction administration, Oculus delivered a cohesive, experience-driven design tailored to both travelers and staff.
